Abia APC Congratulates Cleared Aspirants, Reaffirms Commitment to Fair Primaries and 2027 Victory
The leadership of the APC in Abia State heartily congratulates all aspirants who purchased nomination forms and successfully scaled through the screening process ahead of the forthcoming primary elections.
As we proceed into the primaries, we wish to assure every aspirant of the party’s neutrality, fairness, and total commitment to a transparent process. The party structure remains impartial and has not anointed any aspirant, except our support for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. There is no preferred list of aspirants.
The Abia APC State Executive Committee remains open, accessible, and willing to attend events organised by any aspirant, provided proper invitations are extended. We are equally ready to receive and host any aspirant who wishes to visit the party to formally declare or discuss their aspirations.
We also seize this opportunity to confidently reaffirm that the APC is poised to win all elective positions in the state, the three Senatorial seats, the eight House of Representatives seats, the twenty-four House of Assembly seats, and ultimately, the governorship election. We therefore encourage all aspirants to return to their constituencies and work diligently to earn the confidence and support of the people.
We urge every aspirant to conduct their campaigns with maturity, effectiveness, and healthy competition in order to emerge victorious at the primaries. Those who secure the party’s tickets will enjoy the full backing and support of the party and will be incorporated into the party’s winning strategy as we prepare for the general elections, we are determined to take over the state, end the mismanagement of the states resources and return Abia to the centre.
However, for those who may not emerge as candidates, we appeal that you accept it in the spirit of sportsmanship and loyalty to the party and be assured that your efforts are duly recognized and will be rewarded accordingly.
We encourage you to support the eventual candidates and work collectively for the success of the APC in the general elections.
Be assured that no sacrifice, effort, or investment made for the growth and victory of the party will go unnoticed or unrewarded. The party is taking stock of the contributions and commitments of its members, and you will be the first to be considered for appointments when the party wins.
