Ahaiwe vows to transform motor park,calls for government assistance
The newly elected chairman Aba Park Arochukwu,Mr Lazarus Emenike Ahaiwe has reiterated his utmost commitment in transforming the once dilapidated park and therefore calls for government assistance in making his vision come true.

He made this call during an interactive section with journalist at the park situated in Umuahia Abia state where he expressed his desire to change the outlook of the park to something befitting and worthwhile.

The Arochukwu born chairman stated that his reign which started in the month of May has brought sanity and orderliness to the park.
He mentioned that his administration which is following the footsteps of Dr Alex Otti the executive Governor of Abia state has brought refuse bins and also built new modern toilets inorder to promote cleanliness at the park
Mr lazarus stated that the drivers and those using the motor parks have been working in tandem with him to make sure his plans are accomplished in the park.
“There are now canopies where passengers are seated before they board their various buses for transit.not only that demarcations have been made to make sure cars are properly parked in order to ensure a seamless working environment”.
He therefore called on the government of Dr Alex Otti to provide some facilities like borehole in order to make sure there is constant water in the park.
Ahaiwe also expressed concern that most of the structures in the park was in dire need of renovation and retrofitting which can only be made possible through government intervention
