2027: OMPAN Chairman Promise Uzoma Okoro Declares for Bende North State Constituency Seat
Promise Uzoma Okoro, Chairman of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), has officially declared his intention to contest for the Bende North State Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.
Okoro announced on Monday to Party leaders, expressing his commitment to delivering quality representation and addressing the developmental needs of the people of Bende North.


I will bring quality representation to Bende North State Constituency,” Okoro stated, pledging to prioritise policies and initiatives that will improve infrastructure, empower youths, and enhance economic opportunities within the constituency
The OMPAN chairman, known for his active role in media development and advocacy, noted that his experience in leadership and communication has equipped him with the necessary skills to effectively represent the interests of his constituents.
“I’m not looking at the people who said they are elephants because I’m not afraid. If David could defeat Goliath then PUO can defeat anybody so I’m not afraid. I’ve prepared myself for a day like this.”
He also called on stakeholders, community leaders, and residents of Bende North to support his ambition, assuring them that he would govern with a people-oriented approach if elected.
