Orji Uzor Kalu, the senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, has expressed strong confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will dominate the political landscape of Abia State in the 2027 Nigerian general election, vowing that the party will win all elective positions in the state which includes the governorship,senate,house of Representatives and state house of Assembly positions
Kalu made the assertion while addressing party members and supporters at his country home Igbere,Bende during the first quarterly meeting of the Reality organization and the OUK movement noting that the APC is steadily strengthening its grassroots structures across the state ahead of the next general elections.
According to him, “the growing support for the party among residents is a clear indication that Abia voters are ready for a new political direction.
The former Abia governor emphasized that unity, commitment, and effective mobilization among party faithful would be key to achieving victory in 2027.
Sen. Kalu assured supporters and party faithful that the APC remains united in the state, dismissing rumors of internal factions.
He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his developmental strides, which have resulted in the stabilization of foreign exchange, stable fuel prices, and a reduction in the cost of staple foods in the country.
“He further stated that in the 2027 general election, Abians will vote massively for President Tinubu’s re-election.”
The lawmaker lamented the recent surge in petrol prices caused by the war between the US-Israel and Iran but assured Nigerians that the hardship is temporary, saying there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
Kalu further maintained that with the right strategy and collective effort, the APC stands a strong chance of securing the governorship seat as well as other elective positions in Abia, assuring supporters that the party is fully prepared for the political contest ahead.
The former Speaker Abia house of Assembly and Chairman City boy movement Abia chapter Rt hon Chinedum Orji in his remarks described Sen Orji Kalu as an excellent Statesman and lawmaker who has contributed immensely in the development of the state.
He expressed confidence that the 2027 general elections will be a landslide victory for Apc in the state while advising party faithfuls to be vigilant and strong for the tough fight ahead of them to capture the state.
According to the former Abia lawmaker, the administration of Pres Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recorded remarkable achievements across key sectors, making a strong case for his re-election.

He expressed his willingness to run for the governorship election under the APC platform, hoping that with the right support, he will emerge victorious.
