The State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abia State, heartily congratulates Dr. Eric Opah on his successful emergence as the Governorship Candidate of our great party following the just concluded governorship primary election conducted across the 184 wards in the state.

Your emergence is a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust party members have reposed in your leadership capacity, vision, and commitment to the growth and development of Abia State. The peaceful and transparent conduct of the primary election further reflects the unity, maturity, and democratic ideals of our great party.

As a party, we are confident that your wealth of experience, dedication, integrity and grassroots appeal will position the APC strongly ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.

We urge all party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters to close ranks and work collectively towards delivering victory for our party in the 2027 general elections.

The SWC also appreciates Chief Henry Ikoh who participated in the primary process for his sportsmanship, commitment, and loyalty to the ideals of the APC. We call on every member of the party to remain united and focused as we move forward together under the banner of progress and renewed hope.
