DLA Unveils Ideological Blueprint, Rallies Nigerians for National Renewal and Economic Transformation
The Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) has formally unveiled its vision for Nigeria, positioning itself as a distinct ideological political movement committed to national renewal, economic transformation, and accountable leadership.
In a press statement jointly signed by its National Chairman, Barr. Samuel M. Memeh, and National Publicity Secretary, Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr., the party described its emergence as a response to Nigeria’s deepening challenges, including economic stagnation, insecurity, and governance deficits.
According to the statement, the DLA is founded on core principles of Pan-Africanism, ethical leadership, scientific advancement, and people-centered governance. The party emphasized that it is not just another political platform, but a purpose-driven movement aimed at rebuilding Nigeria through structured ideology and long-term policy direction.
Highlighting its economic agenda, the DLA outlined plans to transition Nigeria from a consumption-driven economy to one powered by production, innovation, and industrialization. The party pledged to prioritize investments in technology, research, and youth-led enterprises, while promoting local manufacturing and sustainable wealth creation.
On national security and agriculture, the party took a firm stance on the protection of farmers and farmlands, condemning the continued destruction of agricultural communities. It called for immediate legislative action to regulate cattle movement and enforce structured ranching systems, stressing that safeguarding agriculture is critical to food security and economic stability
The DLA further called on Nigerians across all divides to unite under a shared vision of rebuilding the country. It urged citizens to reject corruption, political opportunism, and divisive tendencies, while embracing unity, discipline, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.
Reaffirming its commitment to inclusive participation, the party invited Nigerians to join its ranks, either as members or aspirants, and to engage with its ideological framework through its official platforms.
The statement concluded with a message of hope and determination, asserting that Nigeria’s challenges can be overcome through collective effort, courage, and unwavering commitment to national progress.
“The time has come to build a Nigeria that works for everyone,” the party declared, expressing confidence that the nation will rise again.
